What accommodation is going to suit your Family?
Over many years of camping both with the family and solo, I have had the pleasure (or not) of using many different types of camping accommodation.
I’ve used a single swag whilst 4WDing with mates, to a 6 berth motorhome with the family, and everything in-between.
Can I start by saying the obvious; there is nothing out there that is perfect for all occasions, but I can confidently give you our opinion and experiences to assist you on your way to buying something that will suit you and your family’s needs.
All of our experiences within our website are our own experiences and not a sponsor’s paraphernalia. We have actually purchased and owned all that will be discussed, with the exception of the motorhomes, so it isn’t a case of being leant equipment for a weekend by a supplier for positive comment.
I have offend been asked by friends, what should I buy? I am asked this because we have actually owned and used many different camping accommodation options in a variety of climatic situations. I am also known for my honest opinion. I’m not one of those people that because I own it ‘it the best,’ in fact I’m probably far more critical of something that I have forked out good money for, if it doesn’t meet my expectations. This may be because I was sold something that doesn’t live up to its expectations, misrepresented, poorly made, or I simply got caught up in all the hype and trill of getting something new to go camping with and overlooked some important features, or lack thereof.
Having said that, I have had some great experiences over the years and can confidently give comprehensive real and factual advice.
