We are a mid aged couple with a blended family, that like most of us, love to travel. We spend all of our free time travelling this beautiful and vast country of ours, Australia.
I am in IT, and my wife, a small business owner. We have three children (Kidz) between us, mine, hers, and ours. The kidz range in age from 4 to 14 years.
Our motivation for developing this site was to share our experiences and knowledge of camping with our children in the hope that some of the information will assist and motivate others to get out and see this country. Camping with kidz doesn’t have to be that hard. We have been camping for many years now, and have never tire of it. Like many of you, we are planning our next trip well before we’ve got home from the last one.
We, as Australians are so lucky to have such a beautiful and diverse country to travel. I don’t think I could ever tier of it, and as for going overseas, I don’t think there’s enough time to get there…
We believe we have great advice on camping Australia with kidz, and to do this on a budget, cos let’s face it, nothing is getting any cheaper, especially the old camping holiday.
Our experience is wide and varied; we have owned many different types of accommodation, from a simple swags, to a large 6 berth caravan, and everything in between, not for getting a large 6 berth Motorhome for a stint down the great ocean road, more than once.
